From Edinburgh, Scotland, Lauren has been tenor drumming since she was 10 years of age. At 18, Lauren began playing in Grade 1.

In Solo competition, Lauren has excelled in many local championships as well as twice taking the top place at the International Juvenile Solo Championships.

Lauren is now Head Tenor of Shotts & Dykehead Caledonia Pipe Band, with who she competes in Grade 1. She also is the Director of the Bass Section at National Youth Pipe Band of Germany.
